i) Pilot Project on Micro Irrigation implemented by CADA Haryana Keeping in view the vision of Government to supply canal water at farm gate of each farmer under canal command to encourage the Micro irrigation for optimum utilization of available surface water, a Pilot Project amounting to Rs. 30.60 crore covering CCA of approximately 2231 hectare has been implemented by CADA in 14 villages of 13 districts namely Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Sirsa, Hisar, Panipat, Jhajjar, Bhiwani, Ambala, Jind, Sonipat,Rewari and Mahendragarh. Under this scheme, pressurized water is being supplied to the farmers for Micro Irrigation and energy is given and taken through Solar Energy and Grid. Further, this will be connected with nearby Electricity Grid Centre by 11 K.V. line to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply. The above said project has been completed.This scheme was conceived in the Swarn Jyanti year of formation of State. In July, 2017, a scheme of this project was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana in Village Gumthala Garhu, (Pehowa) District Kurukshetra. All the schemes of this project are operational.
ii) Pilot Project on Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP) implemented by CADA Haryana. A pilot project has been implemented for utilizing the overflowing treated water from the Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP) with an estimated cost of Rs. 3.65 crore covering 290 hectare area for 3 Sewerage Treatment Plants namely Ladwa, Shahbad and Pehowa. The work of all the 3 sites has been completed and all the sites are operational.
iii) Pilot Project on overflowing village ponds implemented by CADA Haryana. A pilot project was prepared to supply waste / surplus water from the ponds of 50 villages of Haryana by putting solar powered micro irrigation system infrastructure & supplying pressurized water to the farmers' fields through underground pipeline with an estimated cost of Rs.16.68 crore. But according to the instructions of the government, 11 ponds of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Yamunanagar districts were selected for the first phase and the work on these ponds has been completed. The pond water is being used for irrigation purpose by the farmers falling under this project. The total cost of this project is Rs. 4.89 crore. About 383 hectare area is being irrigated under this project.
iv) Project on overflowing village ponds implemented by CADA Haryana Keeping in view the success of Pilot Project on “overflowing village ponds” implemented by CADA, an another project has been prepared by CADA for the 55 villages of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Karnal districts. Under this project, water will be provided for irrigation of 1095 hectares of land at an estimated cost of Rs 7.15 crore. This project has also been approved by the State Government and process for execution of this project is being started by CADA.
